Our Story

After dedicating a combined total of over 80 years to service and volunteering, Robin and Reneé, found themselves constantly being contacted by individuals and organizations who had started a business or nonprofit but were struggling and in need of resources and advice. Their wealth of expertise made them highly sought-after as instructors and consultants by a wide range of local and national organizations, churches, sororities, and fraternities. Through their interactions, they came to realize that many of those seeking help were single mothers, disabled women, and women of color, each grappling with the effects of low self-esteem, discrimination, and financial difficulties resulting from a lack of knowledge about available resources. In response to these pressing needs, Robin and Reneé took decisive action and founded Rekindle Hope with the mission of providing assistance, empowerment, education, and resources to as many women as possible.  Collectively, Robin and Reneé have secured over $750,000 in grants for local nonprofits.

What We Do

We are deeply committed to empowering black, Indigenous, other women of color, and disabled women by providing them with the education, resources, and opportunities necessary for a better quality of life. We are dedicated to empowering women by providing comprehensive guidance and support in their entrepreneurial journey. Our program is tailored to help women develop essential entrepreneurial skills, refine business processes, and bring their business ideas to life through a systematic approach that includes thorough development, testing, and launch phases. We cover a wide range of essential topics, including but not limited to business etiquette, protocols, and networking, offering a holistic approach to building a successful enterprise. Our practical assistance extends to helping women establish strong policies and procedures, navigate through necessary business documentation, and offer ongoing support during the critical initial phases, including the first 30, 60, and 90 days after the launch of their business.
